United Presbyterian Church believes that
ministry with youth is one of the most important things that the church can ever do!
Mid and Senior High youth groups each meet monthly. The groups will each gather for discussion, games and food. Frequently the youth groups go out into the Laramie community to volunteer and have fun at a local event.Each summer a Mission or youth conference trip is planned for an opportunity for the youth to grow in their faith.
Youth Group
The highlight of the year is the annual Mission Trip. The youth group travel to a mission site, where they participate in all types of service work including childcare, building projects, grounds work, painting, and cooking. Donation requests from church members and money raisers are used to help underwrite the cost of the trip.
Sometimes everyone meets at the church for discussion, games and food. Other times there are field trips, such as collecting food for the food pantry or a trip to a sports event. There are also weekend retreats each year. Whatever the activity, the youth group are having fun while learning, growing and serving.
