Christian Education

WHO WE ARE: We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), a distinctly confessional and connectional church PC(USA). We are distinguished by the representation of elders – lay men and women – in our church and in affirming and encouraging the ministry of all (“the priesthood of all believers”).

WE BELIEVE in a theology of mission, as expressed in our most recent Statement of Faith: “In gratitude to God, empowered by the Spirit, we strive to serve Christ in our daily tasks and to live holy and joyful lives, even as we watch for God’s new heaven and new earth, praying, “Come, Lord Jesus.”

WE DO mission and its related functions in “good Presbyterian order”. Our style of doing mission is that is biblically based and historically relevant. It seeks to build solidly on our past commitments and mission experience, and also adapt to newly emerging needs and to changing relationships in a sensitive manner.

OUR WITNESS, together and as individuals, is rooted in the gospel ministries of preaching, teaching, and healing, and in Christ’s example of advocacy for the poor, the hungry, and the oppressed.

LOCALLY, we offer worship on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Varied musical styles combine our tradition and current ways of expressing our love of God and God’s people. We offer classes for all ages at varying times.
